ONEcards are issued in person year round at the InfoLink ONEcard Service Centre in HUB Mall. Government issued Photo ID (driver's license or passport) and 7-digit UofA ID Number are required to pick up your ONEcard.
New staff members should contact us ahead of time by email or phone to confirm their eligibility before coming to the office in person (be sure to include your 7-digit UofA ID number in all correspondence.
University of Alberta students registered in credit courses in the current term are eligible for a ONEcard. You must pick up your ONEcard in person, and valid government issued photo ID must be presented. Please bring your 7-digit University of Alberta ID number. New students should submit their ONEcard photo online.

For Faculty and Staff
Most University of Alberta Faculty and Staff are eligible for a University of Alberta ONEcard. Please ensure that you confirm your eligibility and check that you have been entered into the PeopleSoft and ONEcard databases. You may do this by contacting the ONEcard Office by phone at (780) 492-7924 or by sending an email request to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include your 7-digit UofA Employee ID number in all correspondence.
Faculty and Staff may submit a photo online before visiting the office.

University of Alberta Alumni may obtain a University of Alberta Alumnus ONEcard for ID purposes. Access to services must be purchased separately. Please visit the University of Alberta's Sport & Recreation and Libraries websites for information about fees and procedures for accessing these services.

For Continuing Education Students
University of Alberta students who are currently registered in a diploma or certificate program through the Faculty of Extension may obtain a University of Alberta ONEcard in person at the ONEcard Office for a $15 fee. Access to services must be purchased separately. For Postdoctoral Fellows and Academic Visitors
ONEcards are available to Postdoctoral Fellows and Academic Visitors, however registration must be completed with the Postdoc/Academic Visitors office prior to card issuance.

A "Basic" ONEcard (not ID) can be purchased from the ONEcard office and can be used to make ONEcard financial transactions at vending locations that accept ONEcard cash.
Department ID Badges
The ONEcard Office, in collaboration with Marketing and Communications, has developed a standard Departmental ID Badge for University of Alberta staff, students, and contractors. Department administrators can request badges using one of the forms available on the Forms Page.

Individuals who are not associated with the University of Alberta, but wish to use the gym facilities, may purchase a VVC Membership from the Equipment Room in the Van Vliet Centre.
